BBB is an unbiased organization that sets and upholds high standards for fair and honest business behavior. The first BBB was founded in 1912. Today, 128 BBBs serve communities across the U.S. and Canada, evaluating and monitoring more than 3 million local and national businesses and charities. BBB Accreditation is an honor - and not every company is eligible. BBB does not compare businesses against each other, but rather evaluates businesses against their own standards.
Gold Seal - Canadian Construction Association
The CCA Gold Seal Certification Program is a national certification program for construction Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators and Owners' Project Managers. Certification is based on the candidate's education, experience and their ability to satisfy the rigorous standards of the Program. This may mean the successful completion of a Gold Seal exam. The Gold Seal Certificate was developed by the industry for the industry and is a voluntary certification program for the individual. The Certificate signifies that the individual has attained a nationally recognized level of experience and competence as a Project Manager, Superintendent, Estimator or Owners' Project Managers.
Northwest Trade Ally Network
The Trade Ally Network supports trade allies in working with public utility lighting efficiency incentive programs. As participants in the Northwest Trade Ally Network, trade allies — including electrical contractors, distributors, manufacturer reps, designers and regional manufacturers — have the tools, information and technical expertise to advise building owners and facility managers on cost-effective ways to reduce their energy costs.
Prince George Construction Association
The Prince George Construction Association is dedicated to the promotion of construction investment, standard practices and high standards in the construction industry.
Electrical Contractors Association of British Columbia
ECABC was founded in 1952, when electrical contractors decided that a strong central voice was needed to speak on their behalf. Then as now, ECABC is the only Association in British Columbia dedicated to the interests of electrical contractors and their suppliers.
The ECABC contractor membership consists of union affiliated contractors, open shop contractors, manufacturers and distributors.
ECABC is a member of the Canadian Electrical Contractors Association (CECA), which means that member contractors have an opportunity to express opinions and concerns regarding provincial and national issues that affect the electrical industry.
